All students in grades K-6 have the opportunity to expand the scientific lessons they learn in the classroom through the hands-on science lab. This lab time, in conjunction with the content being learned in each grade level, allows students the opportunity to interact with science in a fun and engaging way.
This year in the Science Lab students will be learning all about STEAM-Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math!
This year many new engineering projects along with the new Next Generation Science Standards will be integrated into each grade level's curriculum.

Items needed in Science Lab
This year your child will be participating in STEAM activities in the Science Lab. STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. The goal of STEAM is to provide students with real-world problem solving opportunities. STEAM allows students to think outside the box with project-based learning. Your child will be working on many exciting STEAM projects this year!
Below is a list of household materials that we will be using to create our STEAM projects. If you are willing to donate any of the items below then you can send them to the classroom with your child at any time throughout the year.
