Harbor View Preschool

The preschool program at Harbor View Elementary School provides a nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 3–4. Our program supports children’s social-emotional development, early academic skills, and kindergarten readiness through hands-on, play-based learning experiences. Early learning programs put children on a path to succeed in school and beyond.

Family Communication & Partnership

Family partnerships are an important part of our preschool program. Teachers maintain regular communication with families regarding classroom activities, learning goals, and important updates via ParentSquare and Learning Genie. We value collaboration with families to support each child’s success.

A Day in Our Preschool Classroom

Children in the preschool program engage in meaningful learning experiences that promote curiosity, independence, and confidence. Learning takes place through a balance of whole-group instruction, small-group activities, hands-on exploration, and purposeful play. Our classrooms emphasize learning through exploration while supporting children’s ability to work cooperatively, communicate effectively, and develop positive relationships.

Where To Begin?

Step 1: Attend a Virtual Information Zoom Session

Sign up for a virtual informational Zoom session hosted by Michelle O’Neill to learn more about the Tuition Preschool program, including school hours, class schedules, curriculum, teacher-to-student ratios, and the enrollment process.

Step 2: Schedule an In-Person Classroom Tour (Optional)

After attending a virtual informational Zoom session, families are welcome to sign up for an in-person classroom tour to see our learning environments and meet our preschool staff.

Step 3: Begin Enrollment

Contact Calvin Jennings to start the enrollment process or ask questions about availability. Open Enrollment for new families begins January 19, 2026.
